Today I want to share a real-world review of the Redodo Power 48V / 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery — and this one is interesting, because I literally left it sealed in my garage for almost a year before opening it.
After finally running a full capacity test, the battery delivered 101.6Ah, which actually exceeds its rated capacity. That’s a great first impression for a 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery, especially one that’s been sitting unused for such a long time.

On paper, this battery looks solid: 51.2V nominal voltage, 100A continuous charge and discharge, a 200A smart BMS, and a claimed 4,000+ cycle life. The case follows a standard form factor, with M8 terminals on top and sturdy carry handles on both sides, making installation straightforward for solar or off-grid systems.
One thing that did catch my attention was the BMS wake-up behavior. After sitting idle for about 24–48 hours, the BMS did not automatically turn back on. Since many 48V / 51.2V chargers require voltage sensing before charging, you may need a charger capable of pushing a small current without sensing voltage, or a brief manual wake-up. Once activated, charging worked perfectly fine.

Internally, the build quality is excellent. The battery uses a 16-cell configuration (2 rows of 8 cells) with laser-welded connections, clean aluminum busbars, and very neatly routed balance leads. Multiple temperature sensors are installed throughout the pack, and the low-temperature charging protection works exactly as it should — charging shut down within seconds when a sensor was cooled and resumed immediately after warming up.
The smart BMS is well laid out, with proper shunt resistors for current measurement, solid FET placement under the heatsink, and a dedicated balancing circuit for each cell. Everything inside shows attention to detail and thoughtful assembly.
This battery also includes Bluetooth monitoring through Redodo’s mobile app. You can quickly check state of charge, current, voltage, and overall cell balance status. While individual cell voltages are not displayed, the app is still useful for everyday system monitoring.

In summary, this 5.1kWh LiFePO4 battery offers strong performance, excellent internal build quality, and very competitive value for its class. If you’re looking for a reliable 48V LiFePO4 battery for solar, off-grid, or backup power, this is a well-built option that clearly delivers on its promises.
